Myles Powell Wins the Metropolitan Player of the Year Award

For the first time in Seton Hall history, Myles Powell has won the Metropolitan Player of the Year Award back-to-back times. The list of hardware continues to grow for Myles as he recently won both the Big East Player of the Year and the Jerry West Shooting Guard of the Year. He has yet to declare for the 2020 NBA Draft but it is expected to be announced soon after capping off his senior year with 21 PPG.

Noah Farrakhan Has Committed to East Carolina University

Early this morning the news was leaked that Noah Farrakhan of The Patrick School, has committed to East Carolina University. It comes as a shock to many as he was expected to attend Penn State after they showed him much love throughout the recruiting process. East Carolina held an 11-20 record before their season was ended by the COVID-19 outbreak, respectively. Farrakhan will likely play a huge role in their backcourt as an elite passer and a 3-level scorer. Considered an internet celebrity by many, his presence will bring a big boost to the program that has never won an NCAA tournament game.

Zaire Wade is Coming to the East Coast Next Winter

Earlier today, Zaire Wade announced that he will be taking a post-grad year and transferring to Brewster Academy in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire. Coming from the west coast in California, he looks to increase his stock as he currently ranks as a 3-star prospect coming in at 140th nationally. He currently holds offers from Rhode Island and Toledo and also holds interest from Michigan State among others. He has high upside and Brewster Academy is likely to get more big-time enrollments for next season.

Dior Johnson Announces his Decision to Transfer to Oak Hill Academy

Recently committed to Syracuse University, five-star point guard Dior Johnson has announced he will be transferring to Oak Hill Academy. Currently ranked 5th in the country overall according to 24/7 Sports, he is one of the most premier players regardless of class. Oak Hill Academy holds deep history with both Kevin Durant and Carmelo Anthony being their most recognizable alumni.
